VARIATIONS: There are many variations to the double cam buckle configuration. Besides color and length, the double cam buckle configuration can be made so the cam buckles are tightened by pulling the adjustable strap toward the hook ends or the opposite, pulling toward the middle of the strap.

PURPOSES: Common purposes of double cam buckle tie-downs are situations where tension may need to be applied on either side, without the need to tighten both sides. An example would be securing cargo on a vehicle, where a user may want to tighten the strap from the drivers side or the passengers side.

LIMITATIONS: The most obvious limitation to double cam buckle tie-downs is the amount of tension and overall strength available. Since cam buckles are tightened by hand, the tension is limited to how tight the strap can be pulled. This is unlike the ratchet style tie-downs that use the ratchet mechanism to generate tension.

PRODUCTION: All our double cam buckle tie-downs are assembled in our USA factory and can be made to the customers specifications.
